My artistic journey and inspiration
I have been drawing my whole life, using art as a way to share my experiences and feelings as I travel through life. My inspiration comes directly from life itself – the joys and heartaches that shape us all. I want my art to reach people, to evoke a feeling, and to create a connection.

The heart of my unique style
My art is deeply emotive. I tend to focus on contemporary figurative work, but I also have a great love for animals and nature. What truly defines my style is the attempt to evoke strong emotions in the viewer. Each piece is crafted to resonate with the human experience, making it uniquely mine.

Recognitions and continuous evolution
I am proud to have recently received an honourable mention in the Terravana International Art Competition. My work has been featured in Unscene Magazine for the past three years, and displayed in many venues, most recently at the Marilyn Walker Museum of Fine Art. While mostly self-taught, I have furthered my studies at Niagara College, the Pumphouse in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and through life drawing at Studio 201 in St. Catharines. I am continuously evolving as an artist.
"My art is a journey of emotion, resilience, and connection."

Life beyond the canvas
When I am not creating, I find joy in other aspects of my life. I am in recovery from a significant stroke and have adapted my painting process to accommodate my disability. I love dogs and horses, and I spend my time with my loyal dog, Mr. Zimmerman, painting, drawing, and listening to music. These moments of quiet reflection and companionship deeply influence my artistic output.
